Prism is a surface mounted triangular LED under cabinet light for kitchens where the fitting itself is intended to contribute to the design. Its angled 170 × 140 × 26mm wedge form gives a modern architectural appearance while the round LED light snap fits neatly into the triangular bezel.
Aluminium: CCT, Warm, Natural or Cool White. Black: CCT only.
Prism is a 24V triangular LED under cabinet light for kitchens where the fitting itself is intended to become part of the design. Its angled surface mounted body works particularly well along cabinet edges and towards the wall or splashback, giving the lighting a more modern architectural appearance than a conventional round fitting. Prism also works well for kitchen worktop lighting beneath wall cupboards, giving under cupboard lighting a more deliberate architectural presence.
Prism has a distinctive triangular wedge form measuring 170 × 140 × 26mm. Choose it when you want a more visible, structured fitting rather than a discreet round cabinet light.
Measure the worktop or cabinet run you actually want to illuminate. The Project Builder uses that length to suggest a practical starting quantity, which you can adjust for the real kitchen layout.
Choose Aluminium or Black, then select the white light and control that suit the room. Aluminium gives you CCT, Warm, Natural and Cool White; Black is available with Colour Changing White (CCT).
Why choose Prism? Its triangular angled form creates a stronger architectural look and can complement modern kitchens where a conventional round fitting feels too traditional. The Builder then matches one suitable 24V driver per zone, required distribution and compatible controls.
Prism is designed to make the fitting itself part of the finished kitchen. Its triangular body creates a strong angled profile beneath the cabinet, giving the lighting a more modern architectural appearance.
Choose Aluminium for the widest white light choice, or Black for a stronger high contrast architectural finish. Black Prism is available in Colour Changing White (CCT) only.
Clean and versatile, with the complete Prism choice of CCT, Warm White, Natural White and Cool White.
A bolder option for dark cabinetry, black handles and contemporary schemes where the angled fitting is intended to stand out.
Aluminium Prism is available in Warm, Natural and Cool fixed white, plus Colour Changing White (CCT). Black is available in CCT only. Every Prism version uses 2.3W, with light output varying by white light option.
Prism CCT gives you three selectable white light settings in one fitting. Choose 2700K, 4000K or 6000K using the selector on the back of the round light before it is snap fitted into the triangular bezel.
Choose between three white light tones from the same fitting, using the selector on the back of the round LED light.
Best for: flexibility when you do not want to commit to one white light tone in advance.A softer white for timber, warmer stone and more relaxed interior schemes.
Best for: a warmer atmosphere when you already know the look you want.A balanced white light choice for everyday kitchen task lighting and neutral finishes.
Best for: clean, balanced everyday task lighting.A crisper white for contemporary kitchens, cooler finishes and sharper visual contrast.
Best for: crisp contemporary interiors and cooler schemes.Prism forms part of a low voltage under cabinet lighting system running at 24V DC. Each lighting zone uses one matched driver. Choose the lights and zones you want; the Project Builder matches the compatible driver, required distribution and controls for each zone.
You do not need to calculate driver wattage, count connection ports or work out which accessories are required. Build each lighting zone and we match the compatible power system behind it.
The exact driver and accessories are matched to your project automatically.
The driver is sized from the combined wattage of the lights in that zone. The Builder totals the combined load at 2.3W per Prism fitting. It then selects a driver with suitable capacity for that zone.
Compatible 6 way distribution blocks expand the available light connections. One driver port feeds the block, which then provides six light connections. The Project Builder automatically adds the required quantity where needed.
No. Multiple Prism lights can operate from one compatible driver when they belong to the same lighting zone. Each zone uses one matched driver; capacity and available connections determine how the lights are grouped.
A lighting zone is a group of lights that operate together. Create another zone whenever a different area needs its own driver, sensor or switching behaviour.
Six Prism lights operate together from one matched driver and one touch dimmer.
Three lights operate independently and switch automatically using a PIR occupancy sensor.
A separate cabinet lighting group operates from its own driver and compatible door sensor.
Choose the supplied mains cable for fixed wiring, or add the optional 2m UK plug cable where a suitable socket is available. Mains electrical work should be completed by a suitably competent person.
Any work involving the mains electrical supply should be carried out appropriately for the installation and applicable regulations.
One compatible sensor controls every Prism light connected to the same lighting zone. Choose manual touch dimming, automatic occupancy control or automatic cabinet door lighting: all designed to connect into the 24V driver system.
Best for everyday kitchen lighting
Tap to switch the entire zone on or off, then touch & hold to adjust the brightness to suit the room.
The sensor remembers your previously selected brightness level, so the lights return to your preferred setting when switched back on.
Best for automatic occupancy lighting
Walk into the detection area and the whole lighting zone comes on automatically.
The lights remain on while movement or occupancy continues to be detected, then switch off around 30 seconds after movement stops.
Best for single door cupboards
Open the cabinet door and the lighting zone switches on automatically. Close it and the lights switch off again.
Designed for one cabinet door, using a short range sensor so the lighting responds as the door moves away from or returns to the sensing position.
Best for double door cupboards
Either of two independently opening doors can operate the same cabinet lighting zone.
Ideal where either door needs to bring the lights on, while keeping both doors tied to one simple control point at the driver.
Every sensor includes a surface mount adapter, so you can choose the installation style that best suits the cabinet or fitted furniture.
12mm cut-out
Ø14mm max · 20mm depth
2m fitted cable
30mm wide · 16mm projection
28.5mm deep · 21mm fixing centres
Includes adhesive mounting pad and 2 × 2.5mm × 10mm screws.
A standard on/off wall switch can control the driver’s mains supply. The drivers supplied with this system do not support dimming from a mains wall dimmer. For dimming, choose the Touch On/Off & Dimmer in the Project Builder. Alternatively, the driver can be connected to a permanent mains supply and the lighting controlled by a compatible PIR or door sensor.
Choose the Prism finish, white light, layout and control preference. The Builder matches the compatible 24V system and updates the complete project price as you go.
Start with the worktop or cabinet area you want to illuminate. The Project Builder suggests a practical quantity; you then refine the positions, orientation and cable routes before anything is permanently fixed.
Measure the area you actually want to light rather than automatically fitting one light per cabinet door. The Builder uses that length to suggest a starting quantity.
Prism placement is flexible. The fitting is often positioned towards the wall or splashback, but test the angled body and light spread against the real cabinet before fixing it permanently.
Each Prism light has a 2m fitted cable. Decide where the driver will remain accessible, how the cable will be concealed and whether any 2m or 5m extensions are needed.
Temporarily check the proposed positions and the direction of the angled fitting before drilling cable holes or fixing the bezels. Cabinet depth, wall colour and reflective worktops can all affect the finished result.
Prism uses a triangular surface mounted bezel fixed beneath the cabinet with one supplied wood screw. The round LED light then snap fits into the bezel, keeping the fixing simple while creating the distinctive angled profile.
Prism can be positioned flexibly beneath the cabinet and is often installed towards the wall or splashback. Hold the fitting in place first and check the appearance and light spread.
On CCT versions, choose 2700K, 4000K or 6000K using the selector on the back of the round LED light before it is snap fitted into the bezel.
Plan the route for the 2m fitted cable, then secure the bezel to the underside of the cabinet using the single supplied wood screw.
Connect the light to the matched 24V system, test operation and positioning, then snap the round LED light securely into the triangular bezel.
No. Prism is surface mounted. You only need to plan the cable route and any small concealed cable opening required by the installation; the fitting itself does not need a large recessed light cut-out.
The key dimensions, light outputs and installation details needed to specify Prism confidently, including its triangular bezel, 2.3W 24V light and snap fit construction.
All Prism versions use 2.3W. Aluminium is available in every white light option; Black is available in CCT only.
Driver: supplied as part of the complete lighting setup selected through the Project Builder, rather than included in the single light starting price.
Five years of cover from purchase.
We prefer to publish specifications we can stand behind rather than an estimated operating life figure that can vary with installation and operating conditions. Prism is instead backed by a guarantee for five years.

Quick answers to the triangular design, placement, white light and 24V compatibility questions most likely to matter before you build a Prism cabinet lighting project.
Shape, positioning, finish and white light choices.
Prism uses a 170 × 140 × 26mm triangular bezel around a round LED light. The angled wedge form gives the fitting a stronger architectural presence beneath the cabinet than a conventional round surface light.
Prism is best described as a triangular, angled wedge cabinet light. Its shape can give a Pyramid Style appearance beneath the cabinet, but it is a surface mounted triangular bezel around a round LED fitting rather than a four-sided pyramid.
Placement is flexible. Prism is often installed towards the wall or splashback, but the best position depends on the cabinet depth, worktop and desired appearance. Hold and test the proposed fitting position before permanent fixing.
No. The triangular bezel is fixed to the underside of the cabinet with one supplied wood screw and the round LED light snap fits into it. Only the cable route and any small concealed cable opening need to be planned.
Aluminium is available in Colour Changing White (CCT), Warm White, Natural White and Cool White. Black is available in CCT only.
Colour Changing White (CCT) lets you select 2700K, 4000K or 6000K from the same fitting. The selector is on the back of the round LED light, so choose the preferred setting before snap fitting it into the triangular bezel.
The CCT version produces 150–180lm depending on the selected white. Fixed Warm White is 217lm, Natural White is 242lm and Cool White is 238lm. All versions use 2.3W.
Choose Prism for a visible triangular angled design. Choose Aurelia for a classic round surface form, Vela when a very slim round surface fitting is the priority, or Eclipse for a recessed round finish where the cabinet can accept the required cut-out and depth.
How the complete 24V system is powered, controlled and handed over.
Yes. Prism is a 24V DC fitting. The LED driver, sometimes called a transformer, converts mains power to the 24V DC supply used by the lights. Each lighting zone uses one matched driver, selected automatically by the Project Builder.
The Project Builder supports up to 36 Prism lights in one zone and automatically matches the driver and required distribution. Create another zone when a group needs separate switching, dimming or sensor control.
A standard on/off wall switch can control the driver’s mains supply. The drivers supplied with this system do not support dimming from a mains wall dimmer. For dimming, choose the compatible Touch On/Off & Dimmer in the Project Builder. Alternatively, connect the driver to a permanent mains supply and control the lighting with a compatible PIR or door sensor.
Yes. The Builder offers compatible touch dimming, PIR occupancy, single-door and double-door sensor options. One compatible sensor controls the lights in that zone; you do not need one sensor per light.
Yes. Choose the supplied mains cable for fixed wiring, or add the optional 2m UK plug cable where a suitable socket is available. Mains electrical work should be completed by a suitably competent person.
Each light includes the triangular Prism bezel, the round 24V LED light, a 2m fitted connection cable and one wood screw for fixing the bezel. The matched driver is selected as part of the complete project and is not included in the single-light starting price.
Yes. As you make choices, the Builder updates the complete project price for the lights, matched driver and selected controls or accessories before you add the project to your basket.

What is a zone? One group of lights powered by one driver and controlled together. For example, worktop lights and island lights that need separate switching are two zones. Need different light styles on one shared control? Contact us before ordering.
Choose the finish that best suits your kitchen or furniture.
Choose the shade of white light that best suits your space.
Colour temperature changes the tone of white light — from warm and cosy to cool and crisp. It is different from brightness, so a cooler white does not automatically mean a brighter light.
Choose Warm, Natural or Cool White using the small switch on the back of each light. Unclip the light to change it later — ideal if you are unsure now or want the flexibility to change the mood.
A softer, warmer white. Works particularly well with cosy interiors, warm woods, brass finishes and relaxed evening lighting.
A balanced neutral white that keeps colours looking natural. A strong all-round fixed choice for kitchens and work surfaces.
A cooler, crisper white appearance. Suits clean contemporary spaces and customers who prefer a fresher-looking white light.
Choose how many lights you want in this zone. We'll match the correct driver automatically.
Measure the worktop you want to illuminate, then use the guide below.
Selected light:Enter the illuminated worktop run and we'll suggest a starting quantity with sensible spacing between the lights and space left at both ends.
Measure the worktop length you actually want to light and note any gaps or corners.
Start at 250–300mm centres and keep the row of lights consistently positioned towards the front of the cabinet. Move them closer together for a stronger, more continuous task-light effect.
Temporarily position the lights and switch them on. Worktop finish and corners can affect the final appearance.
You choose the lights. We'll automatically match the smallest suitable compatible driver on the next step.
A driver is the required 24V power supply for your lights. We'll automatically add the smallest compatible driver to this zone, so you don't need to calculate or choose one yourself.
Why is a distribution block included? A 6-way block uses one driver light port and provides six light connections, adding five extra usable connections. We add only the minimum number needed.
What is a distribution block? It is only needed when the zone has more lights than the driver has light ports. This driver already has enough connections.
Now choose how that driver will receive mains power.
Choose how this zone should switch on, off or dim. One control operates every light in the zone.
Check your setup below before saving this zone.
Add another zone for lights you want to control separately, or review your project when all of your zones are complete.
