Check the Recess
Confirm the 58mm cut-out, recessed depth and cable route at every proposed position before any permanent cutting.
24V · Recessed · 58mm Cut-Out · 5-Year Guarantee
Recessed form. Clean finish. Integrated cabinet lighting.
Choose the finish, white light and area to illuminate. The Project Builder suggests a practical starting quantity, then matches the correct 24V driver, required distribution and compatible controls for each lighting zone.
Save a Project Pack to share the selected lights, system parts and zones with your fitter or electrician.
Eclipse is a round recessed 24V LED under cabinet light for kitchens where a 58mm cut-out can be made. The fitting sits largely within the cabinet underside so only the slim Ø65mm face remains visible, giving recessed cabinet lighting a clean, integrated appearance.
Aluminium: CCT, Warm, Natural or Cool White. Black & Brass: Colour Changing White (CCT) only.
Eclipse is designed for a recessed installation, so the cabinet must accept a 58mm cut-out and at least 14mm of recessed depth plus cable clearance. If that suits the furniture, three simple decisions will get the project ready for the Builder.
Confirm the 58mm cut-out, recessed depth and cable route at every proposed position before any permanent cutting.
Enter the worktop run and the Builder suggests a practical starting quantity. You can adjust the layout for corners, cabinet depth and the effect you want.
Choose Aluminium, Black or Brass, select the available white light option, then decide whether the zone uses touch dimming, a sensor or a standard wall switch.
The Project Builder matches the correct 24V driver, required distribution and compatible connections for your choices, adds the options you select and shows the complete project price. You do not need to calculate driver wattage yourself.
Eclipse sits into a 58mm cut-out and needs 14mm of recessed depth plus cable clearance. Most of the fitting sits within the cabinet underside, leaving the compact round face visible while the 120° beam spreads useful light across the worktop.
Because Eclipse is recessed, the visible round face becomes the main finish detail. Coordinate it with cabinet hardware, taps, sockets and surrounding materials.
A clean, neutral finish that works easily with contemporary hardware, appliances and lighter cabinet interiors.
A stronger architectural finish for dark cabinetry, black handles and higher contrast kitchen schemes.
A warmer visible accent for brass hardware, timber cabinetry and warmer stone or worktop finishes.
Colour temperature changes the atmosphere of a room and the way cabinetry, worktops and finishes appear. Aluminium is available in fixed Warm, Natural or Cool White as well as CCT. Black and Brass are available in Colour Changing White (CCT). CCT changes the shade of white light only; it does not produce coloured or RGB light.
Eclipse CCT gives you three selectable white light settings in one fitting. Choose 2700K, 4000K or 6000K, see the lighting against the finished kitchen and change the setting again later if your preference changes.
Try Warm, Natural and Cool White in the finished room, then change the setting again later.
Best for: maximum flexibility when you do not want to commit to one white light tone before installation.A softer white for timber, warmer stone and more relaxed interior schemes.
Best for: warmer interiors when you already know the atmosphere you want.A balanced white light choice for everyday kitchen task lighting and neutral finishes.
Best for: clean, balanced everyday task lighting.A crisper white for contemporary kitchens, cooler finishes and sharper visual contrast.
Best for: crisp contemporary interiors and cooler schemes.Eclipse forms part of a low voltage under cabinet lighting system running at 24V DC. Each lighting zone uses one matched driver. Choose the lights and zones you want; the Project Builder matches the compatible driver, required distribution and controls for each zone.
You do not need to calculate driver wattage, count connection ports or work out which accessories are required. Build each lighting zone and we match the compatible power system behind it.
The exact driver and accessories are matched to your project automatically.
The driver is sized from the combined wattage of the lights in that zone. Four Eclipse lights use 9.2W, for example, so an 8W driver would be too small and the Project Builder automatically selects the next suitable option.
Compatible 6 way distribution blocks expand the available light connections. One driver port feeds the block, which then provides six light connections. The Project Builder automatically adds the required quantity where needed.
No. Multiple Eclipse lights can operate from one compatible driver when they belong to the same lighting zone. Each zone uses one matched driver; capacity and available connections determine how the lights are grouped.
A lighting zone is a group of lights that operate together. Create another zone whenever a different area needs its own driver, sensor or switching behaviour.
Six Eclipse lights operate together from one matched driver and one touch dimmer.
Three lights operate independently and switch automatically using a PIR occupancy sensor.
A separate cabinet lighting group operates from its own driver and compatible door sensor.
Choose the supplied mains cable for fixed wiring, or add the optional 2m UK plug cable where a suitable socket is available. Mains electrical work should be completed by a suitably competent person.
Any work involving the mains electrical supply should be carried out appropriately for the installation and applicable regulations.
One compatible sensor controls every Eclipse light connected to the same lighting zone. Choose manual touch dimming, automatic occupancy control or automatic cabinet door lighting: all designed to connect into the 24V driver system.
Best for everyday kitchen lighting
Tap to switch the entire zone on or off, then touch & hold to adjust the brightness to suit the room.
The sensor remembers your previously selected brightness level, so the lights return to your preferred setting when switched back on.
Best for automatic occupancy lighting
Walk into the detection area and the whole lighting zone comes on automatically.
The lights remain on while movement or occupancy continues to be detected, then switch off around 30 seconds after movement stops.
Best for single door cupboards
Open the cabinet door and the lighting zone switches on automatically. Close it and the lights switch off again.
Designed for one cabinet door, using a short range sensor so the lighting responds as the door moves away from or returns to the sensing position.
Best for double door cupboards
Either of two independently opening doors can operate the same cabinet lighting zone.
Ideal where either door needs to bring the lights on, while keeping both doors tied to one simple control point at the driver.
Every sensor includes a surface mount adapter, so you can choose the installation style that best suits the cabinet or fitted furniture.
12mm cut-out
Ø14mm max · 20mm depth
2m fitted cable
30mm wide · 16mm projection
28.5mm deep · 21mm fixing centres
Includes adhesive mounting pad and 2 × 2.5mm × 10mm screws.
A standard on/off wall switch can control the driver’s mains supply. The drivers supplied with this system do not support dimming from a mains wall dimmer. For dimming, choose the Touch On/Off & Dimmer in the Project Builder. Alternatively, the driver can be connected to a permanent mains supply and the lighting controlled by a compatible PIR or door sensor.
Choose the Eclipse finish, white light, layout and control preference. The Builder matches the compatible 24V system and updates the complete project price as you go.
For recessed kitchen cabinet lighting, start with the worktop area you want to illuminate. The Project Builder suggests a practical quantity; you then refine the positions and confirm every cut-out, recess and cable route before permanent work begins.
Measure the worktop area you actually want to light rather than automatically fitting one light per cabinet door. The Builder uses that run length to suggest a starting quantity.
A position around 30–50mm back from the cabinet front edge is a useful starting point for task lighting. Keep the proposed positions consistent, then refine the spacing for corners and changes in cabinet depth.
Each position needs a 58mm cut-out, at least 14mm recessed depth plus cable clearance and a practical route for the 2m fitted cable. Plan any extension leads and keep the driver accessible.
Where practical, check the proposed light positions and finished spread before making the 58mm cut-outs. Cabinet depth, wall colour and reflective worktops can all change the result.
Eclipse sits inside a prepared 58mm cut-out. Allow at least 14mm of recessed depth plus cable clearance, plan the route back to the driver and check the proposed lighting position before the cabinet is permanently cut.
Mark the worktop area to illuminate and confirm a consistent light line. Check the proposed spread before cutting wherever practical.
Create a 58mm diameter cut-out and confirm there is at least 14mm of recessed depth plus enough room for the fitted cable and its route back to the driver.
On the CCT version, choose 2700K, 4000K or 6000K using the selector on the rear of the fitting before placing it into the cut-out.
Connect the fitting to the matched 24V system, test the lighting and operation, then seat the light neatly into the prepared recess.
Confirm the 58mm cut-out position, the available recessed depth, cable clearance and cable route first. Test the proposed lighting position before making permanent cuts wherever practical.
The dimensions and electrical details needed to specify Eclipse confidently, including the cut-out and recessed clearance that distinguish it from a surface mounted cabinet light.
Aluminium is available in fixed Warm, Natural and Cool White as well as Colour Changing White (CCT). Black and Brass are available in CCT. The CCT fitting lets you select 2700K, 4000K or 6000K using the rear selector.
Driver: selected as part of the complete lighting setup in the Project Builder, rather than included in the single-light starting price.
Five years of cover from purchase.
We prefer to publish specifications we can stand behind rather than an estimated operating life figure that can vary with installation and operating conditions. Eclipse is instead backed by a 5-year guarantee.

Quick answers to the recessed fitting, planning and 24V compatibility questions most likely to matter before you build an Eclipse cabinet lighting project.
Recess requirements, quantity, position and white-light choices.
Yes. Eclipse is a round wired 24V recessed LED puck style light designed for permanent cabinet lighting. The body sits within a prepared cut-out so only the slim round face remains visible beneath the cabinet.
Eclipse requires a 58mm diameter cut-out. Allow at least 14mm of recessed depth plus additional clearance for the fitted cable and its route back to the driver.
Enter the worktop length you want to illuminate into the Project Builder and it will suggest a practical starting quantity. Refine the positions for the real cabinet layout before any permanent cut-outs are made.
A position around 30–50mm back from the cabinet front edge is a useful starting point for task lighting. Keep the light line consistent, then check the proposed spread against the actual worktop before cutting.
Aluminium is available in Colour Changing White (CCT), Warm White, Natural White and Cool White. Black and Brass are available in CCT.
Colour Changing White (CCT) lets you select 2700K, 4000K or 6000K from the same fitting. To change the setting later, carefully remove the fitting from the recess, move the rear selector and reseat it. CCT changes the shade of white only; it is not RGB coloured lighting.
How the complete 24V system is powered, controlled and handed over.
Yes. Eclipse is a 24V DC fitting. The LED driver, sometimes called a transformer, converts mains power to the 24V DC supply used by the lights. Each lighting zone uses one matched driver, selected automatically by the Project Builder.
The Project Builder supports up to 36 Eclipse lights in one zone and automatically matches the driver and required distribution. Create another zone when a group needs separate switching, dimming or sensor control.
A standard on/off wall switch can control the driver’s mains supply. The drivers supplied with this system do not support dimming from a mains wall dimmer. For dimming, choose the compatible Touch On/Off & Dimmer in the Project Builder. Alternatively, connect the driver to a permanent mains supply and control the lighting with a compatible PIR or door sensor.
Yes. The Builder offers compatible touch dimming, PIR occupancy, single-door and double-door sensor options. One compatible sensor controls the lights in that zone; you do not need one sensor per light.
Yes. Choose the supplied mains cable for fixed wiring, or add the optional 2m UK plug cable where a suitable socket is available. Mains electrical work should be completed by a suitably competent person.
Each light includes the Eclipse 24V recessed LED fitting with its 2m fitted connection cable. The matched driver is selected as part of the complete project and is not included in the single-light starting price.
Yes. As you make choices, the Builder updates the complete project price for the lights, matched driver and selected controls or accessories before you add the project to your basket.

Choose the finish that best suits your kitchen or furniture.
Choose the shade of white light that best suits your space.
Colour temperature changes the tone of white light — from warm and cosy to cool and crisp. It is different from brightness, so a cooler white does not automatically mean a brighter light.
Choose Warm, Natural or Cool White using the small switch on the back of each light. Unclip the light to change it later — ideal if you are unsure now or want the flexibility to change the mood.
A softer, warmer white. Works particularly well with cosy interiors, warm woods, brass finishes and relaxed evening lighting.
A balanced neutral white that keeps colours looking natural. A strong all-round fixed choice for kitchens and work surfaces.
A cooler, crisper white appearance. Suits clean contemporary spaces and customers who prefer a fresher-looking white light.
Choose how many lights you want in this zone. We'll match the correct driver automatically.
Measure the worktop you want to illuminate, then use the guide below.
Selected light:Enter the illuminated worktop run and we'll suggest a starting quantity with sensible spacing between the lights and space left at both ends.
Measure the worktop length you actually want to light and note any gaps or corners.
Start at 250–300mm centres and keep the row of lights consistently positioned towards the front of the cabinet. Move them closer together for a stronger, more continuous task-light effect.
Temporarily position the lights and switch them on. Worktop finish and corners can affect the final appearance.
You choose the lights. We'll automatically match the smallest suitable compatible driver on the next step.
A driver is the required 24V power supply for your lights. We'll automatically add the smallest compatible driver to this zone, so you don't need to calculate or choose one yourself.
Why is a distribution block included? A 6-way block uses one driver light port and provides six light connections, adding five extra usable connections. We add only the minimum number needed.
What is a distribution block? It is only needed when the zone has more lights than the driver has light ports. This driver already has enough connections.
Now choose how that driver will receive mains power.
Choose how this zone should switch on, off or dim. One control operates every light in the zone.
Check your setup below before saving this zone.
