Check current product information, guarantee terms and installation requirements before ordering. Install over a suitable solid, level base; identify persistent damp, leaks or water ingress before covering concrete.
Our 12 mm Coinect PVC tiles click together to create a practical floor surface over an appropriate solid, level base. They are a smart way to cover tired-looking concrete without applying a bonded coating, and individual tiles can be replaced if damaged later.
Garage floor paint: A potentially lower-cost option for clean, dry and correctly prepared concrete, but it needs suitable preparation and curing time.
Interlocking PVC tiles: A removable, click-together surface that avoids coating-curing time in most domestic installations. Tiles do not repair cracked concrete, level an uneven slab or cure moisture problems.
If your garage floor paint is bubbling, lifting or flaking, the cause may be moisture, contamination, weak concrete or coating/preparation issues. A wet garage floor may also be caused by condensation, drainage or rainwater ingress.
Identify and address the cause first. Do not cover active leaks, standing water or significant unidentified damp with tiles or an unverified damp-proof membrane. Our tiles are a floor finish, not a damp cure.
Yes, where the concrete or screed is hard, solid, sufficiently level and clean. Repair serious damage and investigate damp or active water ingress before fitting a covering.
The Coinect tile is reported as load-tested to 3.35 tonnes per tyre when installed on a solid, level subfloor. Check the latest product data and installation conditions before ordering for your vehicle or use case.
Each tile measures 470 mm × 470 mm, covering approximately 0.221 m². For a rectangular floor, round up the number of tiles required along both dimensions and multiply. Allow for cuts and trims; use the calculator above as a starting point.
Interlocking PVC tiles can usually be loose-laid on a suitable base. Adhesive may be required for specific applications, including tight turning areas, industrial wheeled traffic or direct sunlight. Follow the product's current installation instructions.
The PVC tile material is water resistant, but joints and exposed edges do not make the installed floor a waterproofing system. Water may reach the concrete below. Investigate persistent damp or water ingress before installation.
Yes. The interlocking design allows damaged tiles to be changed without recoating the entire floor. If possible, retain spares from your original order for the closest finish match.
