How it works - By connecting up to 2 stereo amplifiers to the inputs on the matrix splitter box, you can distribute the sound in any combination up to 4 sets of stereo speakers and control their volume. You can also switch individual sets of stereo speakers on and off, perfect for zoning certain areas.

For example, a typical example is below;

Input 1 > Output 1, 4
Input 2 > Output 3
Output 2 is switched off

Ideal for home use, office use, business use, such as bars and clubs where an independent sound control is required for different rooms or zones.

General - This box has a metal outer case, feet on the bottom and because the build quality is excellent, it is robust and durable. The dimensions are 432mm x 133mm x 64mm.

Maximum power input - This box can be used with amplifiers outputting up to 200 watts in total (100W per channel). No other power source is required.

Overload Protection – Internal resistors ensure the amplifier always sees a load, even with all the switches turned off. However, it is good practice to ensure that at least one pair of stereo speakers are switched on before an amplifier is turned on. A progressive switched resistor network ensures that the resistance generated is always equal to that of the speakers, providing that every speaker being used is of the same resistance. For example, speakers that are made by different manufactures may be different resistances and they should not be used together with this device. Speakers between 4-16 ohms can be used.
