Thumbturns

A thumb turn, also known as a turn and release handle, allows for you to lock any interior door without the use of a key. Commonly installed in bathrooms with a bathroom lock & latch to allow the user to lock the door from the inside when occupied.

How does a bathroom thumb turn lock work? By turning the knob clockwise, a deadbolt is released, securely locking the door.
