Galvanised 13.5" Chimney Bracket Lashing Kit

Perfect For;

Attaching to the corner of a chimney to mount an aerial mast/pole. The bracket in this kit is 13.5" tall which ensures it is in contact with a large surface area of the chimney for extremely secure mounting.

What's Included?

1 x Bracket - 13.5" Height
1 x 5m Coil of Lashing Wire
2 x J Bolts
2 x 1.5" V Bolts
3 x Corner Plates

How to fit?

1) Take hold of the lashing wire and keeping hold of the first 4 inches of it, securely wrap it around one of the J Bolts a couple of times. Then wrap the 4 inches of wire around the main wire. Under tension, this causes the wire to tighten and it will not come loose.

2) There are 2 J Bolts included in the pack. Each of them should be connected to one of the mounting holes on the bracket but please note that the nuts on both the J Bolts should not be screwed up fully at this point. The wire should then be run around the chimney from the first J bolt (with the wire attached) back to the second J bolt and should be pulled as tight as possible. Connect to the second J Bolt using same process as in stage one.

3) The corner plates should be placed under the wire at all corners of the chimney apart from the corner where the bracket is. The nuts on the J Bolts can then be tightened up which will pull the bracket towards the chimney and secure it. Your aerial pole can then be attached to the bracket with the included V-bolts. The V-bolts are suitable for use with masts that have an external diameter of between 11mm (0.5") to 38mm (1.5")
