Latches

We offer a variety of internal door latches and catches in a host of different finishes.

Is a latch a lock? Whilst very similar to a lock, a latch is a mechanical fastener that keeps the door closed whilst shut. Unlike a lock, it doesn’t have a locking mechanism.  Latches are generally compatible with most door handles & mortice door knobs.

If you require a new latch for a standard interior door, you are more than likely going to require a tubular door latch. They operate using a spindle connecting to the door handles & passing through the latch.
