A bathroom door latch allows for a thumbturn handle to be used in conjunction with the standard latch mechanism, locking the door when engaged. Unlike a tubular door latch for a standard interior door, a bathroom sashlock allows for two spindles to pass through as opposed to one. The secondary spindle enables the thumb turn to activate the locking mechanism of the lock.
