Overview - Simply put, this device can allow two different signals to be run down one coaxial cable, meaning only one cable is required per installation. This device can be used to combine into one input/output; a satellite signal and a VHF or UHF signal (FM/DAB or Digital Freeview). One of these devices would be required at both ends of a coaxial cable, one to combine the signal and one to split the signal back to its original form (sometimes diplex wall plates are used instead). This device is very handy if you only have one cable running to a particular location and it is too difficult to run another cable. The satellite side of the diplexer has bidirectional DC power pass meaning an LNB on a dish can still be powered by a satellite box.

Please note, for optimum signal, this device needs to be used through good quality coaxial cable. This device cannot be used to combine two satellite signals.
