What is Silicon Carbide-coated Mesh?

Silicon carbide-coated mesh sandpaper removes material quicker than other sandpaper types. The mesh has a waterproof backing allowing you to wet sand, this uses a liquid to lubricate the work surface reducing scratches to any surface. This method prevents the mesh sandpaper from clogging with dust, reduces airborne dust and removes loose abrasive particle. This is why it typically lasts up to 4 times longer than standard sandpaper.
