4mm Galvanised Steel Thimble – For Wire Rope

Overview – When a wire rope is terminated with a loop, there is a risk that it will be bent too tightly. A thimble can be installed to preserve the natural shape of the loop, prevent any damage being caused to the wire rope and will strengthen the loop.

How to install – Installation is very easy, simply thread a length of wire rope around the thimble (as shown in the above picture) and use either wire rope grips or a wire rope crimp to securely hold in place. Wire rope grips can also be purchased, please search our shop.
