Loops Kitchen Cabinet LED Lighting Kits

Some of our most popular lighting products are our premade under cabinet lighting bundles that contain everything you need to get your new LED Kitchen Lighting installed. Our technical team here at Loops Direct has put these kits together containing a number of LED Lights & a suitable driver that outputs enough power to run the supplied lights. This should hopefully make the process much simpler for the user as they don’t have to figure out which light is compatible with what driver or how many lights they can use in conjunction with a specific driver, it’s all done for you.

What's Included?

We stock kits containing anywhere from 1 to 6 LED Cabinet Lights & a 12V DC LED Power Converter (Also known as a Driver). Our bundles are available with a variety of different styles, finishes & LED colours, so you can be sure to find something suitable for your kitchen.

What is a driver? & Ports explained...

A driver converts mains voltage (240V AC) to 12V DC. Our range of efficient kitchen lights run on a low voltage, which conserves energy without compromising on luminosity (brightness). To power the lights, we need to convert the LEDs from 12V DC to 240V AC. This is where the driver comes in and will allow you to connect the lights to the mains via the driver.

Each driver has a certain number of ports, which is one of the determinants of how many lights you can install on a single driver. We stock a 3-port driver & a 6 port driver in various wattage ratings. 1 light will take up 1 port on a driver, you can connect up to 6 lights to a 6-port driver.

As well as ensuring you have enough ports on the driver for the number of lights that you require, it is important to stay within the wattage rating of the driver. For example, if you have an 8W driver, and your LEDs are rated at 2W, you can run a maximum of 4 lights (4 x 2W = 8W) even if the driver has 6 ports.

Thanks to our premade under cabinet lighting bundles, you won’t need to do any of the working out to make sure your lights & driver are compatible, simply choose the style you want, as well as the quantity of lights, and rest easy knowing you’re getting everything you need.

Accessories

As well as our premade bundles, we also stock a range of optional upgrades & accessories to enhance your new kitchen lighting. Whether it be something as simple as an extension cable so you travel a longer distance from your driver, or a PIR motion sensor that will automatically turn on the lights when it detects movement.
